UPDATE JUNE 2025: Manorburn Dam Recreation Reserve Management Plan was adopted

This consultation will be active from 10th February to 7th April and its aim is to ensure Council has heard what residents said during the first consultation in October 2024. Have we got it right?

NOTE: Minors can place submissions and speak at Council Meetings. If they are under 14 years of age, only a paper form is accepted. If they are 14, an online form is accepted too.

The Manorburn Dam Recreation Reserve is situated at the end of Lower Manorburn Rd in Galloway, it is approx 76 hectares and it doesn't currently have a Reserve Management Plan. 

Given the increasing popularity of this area, the Vincent Community Board approved developing a Reserve Management Plan. Council would like to have feedback in the future setting of policies to clarify what activities are permitted in the reserve. 

The main topics are on freedom camping and the use of motocross in the area.

In October 2024, there was a first consultation from which a DRAFT Management Plan was created.

This consultation is on the draft plan and to make sure Council has heard the feedback received last year.
