What happens if I don't register my dog?

All registrations should be paid by the 31st July 2025 as a 50% penalty gets automatically applied on 4th August 2025

If you get a penalty applied and want this reviewed due to special circumstances, all applications must be in writing. You can apply online for a Penalty Remission OR by downloading this form: Dog Registration Penalty Remission Form (PDF, 79KB).

On 1 September 2025, any outstanding registrations will receive a $300 Infringement for failure to register your dogs.
