OVG - Office of the Valuer General
- Is the Chair of the Valuers Registration Board which is a body administered by LINZ
- Ensures that property valuations meet national standards
- Oversees the Rating Valuation Rules and audits valuations every 3 years
- Administers the Valuers Registration Board, which is responsible for occupational regulation of registered valuers and issues practising certificates.
