What is NOT accepted at transfer stations?
- Asbestos: Working with asbestos can jeopardise your health and the health of your family. You must use a professional licence to remove and dispose of any asbestos-containing material.
- Hazardous Waste: Class 1: Flares, fireworks and ammunition- Class 6: Cyanide - Class 7: Any radioactive material (contact Police regarding these materials).
- Batteries: E-bike and E-scooter batteries are not accepted. All other batteries are accepted, as long as they are not leaking, damaged or swollen.
- General Waste: oversized waste, controlled waste, explosive, flammable, oxidising or corrosive substances, liquid waste, infectious substances, radioactive material or medical waste
