Role of QV (Quotable Value)

QV is contracted by Council for:

• valuation of land, improvements and capital values
• triennial general revaluation and valuation objections
• maintenance of the District Valuation Roll (DVR)

Property valuation is done every 3 years with the last one done in October 2022. The next valuation will be end of 2025. Notices are sent to ratepayers by QV, it gives them information on how to lodge an objection, and specifies the timeframe.
