Little Valley Road Bridge, Alexandra- Rehabilitation

DROP- IN SESSION: Thursday 9 October 2025 from 3.30 to 5.30pm - Representatives of the roading team will be there to answer any questions.

Little Valley Road bridge (ID #191) will be rehabilitated to extend its life, improve safety and support heavy vehicles. This will ensure the bridge remains a safe, reliable and accessible community link for residents, farmers, businesses, and emergency services and visitors including the Central Otago Rail Trail users.

This work will begin in January 2026 and is expected to be finished by June 2026.

A temporary bridge will be installed across the Manuherekia River between Linger & Die Park on Rivers Street (across the road from Centennial Park) and Graveyard Gully Road by December 2025 to maintain traffic flow for heavy and genera vehicles during the works.
