What is accepted at transfer stations?

• Batteries (Uncorroded vehicle batteries only- All Transfer stations
• General Waste (Not oversized, medical waste) - All Transfer stations
• Green waste - All Transfer stations
• Hardfill / Cleanfill - Alexandra, Ranfurly and Roxburgh ONLY
• Hazardous Waste - Alexandra & Cromwell ONLY
• Scrap Metal - All Transfer stations
• Tyres - All Transfer stations
• Vehicle bodies - Alexandra & Cromwell ONLY
• Whiteware - All Transfer stations.

• LPG cylinders – these will be accepted at the Alexandra, Cromwell and Roxburgh transfer stations in the New Year when the new storage containers arrive for safe storage at each site.
• Used engine oils – these will be accepted at the Alexandra and Cromwell transfer stations within the next couple of months when the new storage containers arrive for safe storage at each site.
